Here we are. I managed to seize the opportunity to sit down with a war hero, Miss Douji herself, so welcome to her interview!
YANA: What made you want to become a scientist in the first place? Weren't you a part of the military?
DOUJI: Ah, coming in with a hot-topic question, aren't you? Very well then. It's simply the fact that I wanted to contribute to our nation's development more. Mutants are.. such an interesting topic in my eyes, and an opportunity for us to expand further into the world.
YANA: What's with that bandage on your face?
DOUJI: I actually have a scar that I'm quite sensitive about underneath. Got it after a close shot during my time in the military.
YANA: Do you miss your time in the military?
YANA: Absolutely. There isn't a single moment in my life where I don't think about it. What I could have done. Ah, I was honorably discharged after a certain incident, but I still long for the days where I stood arm-to-arm with my comrades in battle.
YANA: How do you feel about Mutants in general?
DOUJI: While I'm not as captivated by them like another collegue of mine, I do think they're quite.. nifty? No, not the word for it. Useful. They allow us to learn more about the world that no other thing could.
YANA: While we're on the topic though, is it true that your little sister is a Mutant?
DOUJI: Personally, the tone you said that is quite hostile, isn't it?
YANA: I didn't mean--
DOUJI: Next question, please.
YANA: ..what is your opinion on the Zone?
DOUJI: It's a rather intriguing place. Ah, I'm not allowed to delve into the depths like I used to anymore, but did you know that I sometimes went on expeditions in there? I found so many nifty Artifacts that we had to build a new storage room because of me. It's a place that makes you long for a better world. And that's what I plan to create.
