"Shocking events at the dead night occur where four border security guards..."

In the dead of night, four border security guards were shot and killed with the murderers nowhere to be seen. While yes, this is all entertaining news within our dreary lives, it’s still a tragedy in some people’s eyes. Investigating a little closer shows that there were footprint tracks leading to the draisine up north, leading speculation to believe that the perpetrators were possible stalkers looking to find valuable artifacts within the Zone.
Of course, your favorite reporter, Yana Oshibka had to come to the scene herself and check out the real juicy bits. When I came inside the building, there was a sense of awe as if someone did an incredible act there, then came the feeling of reality and decay hitting me in the face after I saw bodybags lying around me. I think one of the corpses had like, a crater in them. Like, it was as if someone lodged a crowbar into the guy’s head. But no way someone would just, I don’t know, throw a crowbar like a javelin and crash it through his head?
With a closer examination of the crime scene, it also looked like that the station of the border security was also looted and stripped all of their belongings (didn’t touch anything, of course. cops were watching), although the main safe at the center was left untouched. Interviewing one of the investigators at the scene said this:
“Ejected bullet casings that were left at the scene were unable to be classified due to the production model being ones uncommonly sold from licensed retailers, though it looks shockingly similar to .50 AE cartridges,an ammo cartridge commonly used for Desert Eagles. That being said, such guns are incredibly hard to obtain, even in the underworld.”
The captain of the border security team refused to comment. She seemed ashamed in a way.
